FPA of Wisconsin will once again welcome all Wisconsin financial planning and allied professionals to our 2018 Financial Planning Symposium.  The planning committee has been hard at work to offer first-rate professional education along with great exhibitors and optimal networking for your benefit and enjoyment. 

The Symposium will take place again this year on the beautiful grounds of the Osthoff Resort in Elkhart Lake.

Do you need Ethics training as required by licensing and designation authorities?  Join us at 12:30 pm on Monday afternoon as we welcome Rita Cheng, CFP®, CDFA for a three credit ethics training session. This will be the only time we'll offer the combination of CFP and Wisconsin Insurance credit this year.  

Following the ethics session, Joel Bruckenstein, CFP® will cover core technology applications for advisors, current technology trends, emerging technologies, as well as provide technology tips.  Joel's presentation will be followed by an interactive session where attendees can have their tech questions answered.  Joel is an internationally recognized expert on applied technology for financial professionals and Publisher of Technology Tools for Today (T3). 

At 6:30 pm we will host a reception followed by our first ever Casino Night at no extra cost to you, just funny money.  You won't want to miss this as it is sure to be one of the highlights of this year's Symposium.

The Symposium will feature various topics including, but not limited to an economic forecast, taxes, and cybercrime and identity theft.  Our featured speakers include Alex Dryden with J.P. Morgan Asset Management, Tim Steffen with Baird, and Jeff Lanza, retired FBI Agent as the luncheon speaker.  In addition, there will be multiple Breakout Sessions, a CE approved Collaborative Learning Event, and several opportunities to earn CE credits.
