Collaborative Learning: Executive Employment Change

Collaborative learning is where a problem is presented and you and your peers jointly develop solutions. Not only are you hearing ideas and solutions, you’re sharing them. You’ll work with attorneys, CPAs, Financial Planners, Insurance and Risk Management experts and perhaps talented experts you never considered.

It’s not uncommon for your professional clients to make planned or unplanned employment changes.  What role do you play, and resources do you share when your executive client is leaving and searching for a new opportunity?  During this Collaborative Learning event you will evaluate an executive severance scenario and explore legal, financial and insurance considerations.  Attendees will also better understand how clients can protect themselves and maximize financial resources during an employment change.

Upon your registration at the event you’ll be given a case study on the meeting topic. You’ll be randomly assigned a table and collaboratively your table will discuss concerns and develop solutions.  We’ll share findings and then wrap it up with a Labor & Employment attorney perspective.

We'll get started at 2:30 pm with 30 minutes for networking and then the case study will begin at 3 pm.  Everything will wrap up by 4:30 pm.

Approved for 1 CFP and 1 WI Insurance CE credit.
