Title: FAFSA Changes That WILL Impact Your Clients
The COVID relief bill passed at the end of 2020 also included some significant changes to the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), including how multiple students in college are treated, how divorced parents complete it and rules around gifts and 529 plan contributions from grandparents.
Because the FAFSA is completed each year a student is in college, it affects all families with students in college, not just those starting college.
You will gain an understanding of the following:
- The use of the FAFSA
- The changes to the FAFSA and its impact on clients
- How to sue the changes to increase advisor value to clients
Join us to learn about these important changes and new planning strategies for your clients.
10:05 – Kate Ju – Goldman Sachs
Title: Cryptocurrencies and Blockchain
Bitcoin, Blockchain, and Cryptocurrency: Three topics that have dominated headlines over the past year and appear to only be gaining in popularity. In fact, as of February 2021 Bitcoin’s market cap is larger than that of the three biggest financial institutions in the US combined. Please join us as we discuss Goldman Sachs Asset Management’s views on cryptocurrencies and blockchain and how they may continue to impact industries.
Participants will learn about:
- The functions of cryptocurrencies and blockchains and why they exist today
- The potential impacts blockchains can have on our world
11:05 – Kevin Sidebottom – Sales And Leadership Enterprises
Title: Great Financial Planners Are Not Born

These individuals are focused also on helping the customers get to where they need to go and finding the best option for their customers.
What will be covered:
- Break the myth that successful professionals are born
- Demonstrate what the elite performers do to maintain successful outcomes
- Break down the three questions customer are asking about us
- Walk your attendees through the customer's five buying decisions
